Talk the Vote - Ashland City School Board

Thursday, October 14, 2021 - 6:00pm

Uniontown Brewing Co.
105 West Main Street
Ashland, OH 44805

Presented By: Ashland Source

Candidates for Ashland City School District Board of Education be decided on Nov. 2. Six candidates are running for three seats. The school board makes pivotal decisions about school policies. It's CRUCIAL for residents to discuss their questions and share their priorities. Elections should be about voters, not candidates.
That's why Ashland Source is launching "Talk the Vote" election listening events.
On Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Uniontown Brewing Company, you are invited to join us and share your questions and concerns about the future of the school district through a guided discussion that focuses primarily on one question:
"What do you want to hear candidates talk about as they campaign for your vote?"
YOUR IDEAS will be recorded and presented to public leaders as part of the Citizens Agenda. Ashland Source Reporter Dillon Carr will facilitate the discussion.
The sessions will be limited to an hour. These are designed to be smaller, more intimate gatherings. Residents/voters should feel comfortable asking questions and sharing what they believe should be priorities in the next few years.
Candidates are also welcome to attend any or all sessions -- but only as an observer. The most important participants are the constituents and fellow citizens -- so this is a campaign-free zone.
The event is FREE to attend and you don't need a ticket, but please RSVP by registering online.
